Default Fertilizer ?

I'm getting ready to plant this weekend and was wondering if I should put the fertilizer down then disc it in before I plant or should I disc and add the fertilizer when I spread the seed?

Disc and work the ground first , get the fertilizer in and then seed. after you seed then float the seed in with a piecde of chainlink fence or an old metal mattress springs, if you did it first you could get the seed in to o deep. Regrdless of what you plant it only needs a slight covering of soil especially when it is this warm.

If you can, always disk your fertilizer into the top 2-4" of soil. The Nitrogen component of the fertilizer will disipate into the soil and be carried down with rain water. But the Phosphorus and Potassium component of the fertilizer is rather imobile in the soil and needs to be worked in for best results.
