Mature clover plot picture & Question.
#1
I took the puppy up to get aquainted with the land last weekend - in the morning it was frost and he had a ball romping in the fields. The picture shows (and reminds me) the maturity of my #1 plot this year. You can see the grasses are 50% to the clover (other sections are much better - some are worse. The Plot is 4 years old next spring - and we need to decide if we spray or replant - What would you do?

We suggest that you spray for grasses. It' s kindaq late for this year. If yo have some spray you might want to do a half strength spray this year, we' re suppose to have some warm weather until the weekend. It can' t hurt... We always suggest that plots be sprayed when grasses make their firs appearances.

Mow it for now. If that' s Ladino of other white clover, it will put on some fresh, tender growth. Then mow early next spring let the grasses start back then hit it with spray. Looks like too good a stand to disc up and start over. You may want to redo a part to see how it wood work.

Nice brittney pup. Reminds me of mine 8 years ago.
I have had very good success with spraying and since the field looks good from the pic I would give it a try first. I don' t think spraying this late will do a whole lot of good this year. I would wait until spring.
