Default mineral licks??????

I was wondering if any of yall use mineral licks with salt or other products in them. I think I'm going to put a mineral lick in a well-used green field.I have some moultrie trophy maker in acorn flavor that I want to use, but I have heard of people having lots of pics using cow salt. What do yall use?

I have tried every type of rock, block, recipe, lick etc. and nothing works any better than the 50 lb. generic blocks/ bags that you can buy at your local TSC or feed store for $5.00 each. And since mineral supplements do not benefit deer in any way other than providing them with a source of salt there is no need to waste money buying a commercial mineral supplement with a huge buck on the package or time and running all over town shopping for ingredients then mixing them etc. when you can just go to your local feed store and buy 50 lb. blocks for less money.
Here is a link to my 2009 trail cam pics to show just how well generic mineral blocks/bags work. Pike

P.S. please disregard the first few pics of our new pup.

Here is what they claim on their website.
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""Turn up your game with Rack Snack and enjoy your herd and eliminate cull deer. Promote better racks and over all health of the whole herd."""""""""""""""""""""""""""
No offense but if you actually believe that bogus claim then another phrase comes to mind. """' A fool and his money"""
And please dont take my post the wrong way, when it comes to believing bogus claims from commercial mineral supplements I have been that fool many times. The truth of the matter is the only reason deer use our mineral supplements is because of the increased need for salt in their diet from April thru mid Sept. Pike

Tim dont worry about posting pics of every deer you got using your supplements, just post every pic you got of just one deer ( lets make it a buck for identifacation purposes) using this product over a six month period etc. I posted a link to my trailcam web page that has over 200 different bucks using my generic $5.00 50lb mineral blocks/bags in the powder form so I doubt you could show me that your super duper mineral supplement works better by posting pics of numerous deer etc. Pike

You fail to take into consideration how many deer he has on his property vs. yours, he may get better action to his licks for how many deer he has available in the area, your lick may be inferior and you just happen to have ALOT more deer, not saying this is the case at all could be opposite, i think u should just take into consideration just because you have more deer ( or bucks ) visiting yours( im assuming you do ) doesnt mean yours is better.

all that being said i would stick to the 50 lbs for 5 $ thing, havent used it but i read alot about how thats the best deal u can get.

But there is more than just salt in these licks??? There are several other minerals including calcium. Look...You can believe me or you don't have to. Ill show you the proof. I believe you'll be surprised. And listen. I don't doubt for one second that the generic stuff works... You obviously have proof of some beautiful deer that come to these pictures. Im just saying to the starter of this thread that I and other hunters have used this product with great success...Regardless of the price.
