RE: Clover, yard clover what kind is it?
Dan,
That' s only a guess. But it has three leaves, white blossoms. The thing that gets me, is it seems to spread by its root system, sort of like bermuda. New clumps apear in different spots and that may be from the seed. I' ve transplanted some by digging a spadefull from different spots and have a spot in the timber started. and some around one of my food plots. Probably moved about 100 spade-fulls. Only one clump has died, the rest healthy as before they were dug up. Been checking every three-four days. Maybe this stuff is a mutant. Now I have another problem. The turkeys have found the clover plots. My hunting buddy brought in a 18 lb. gobbler, 8 inch beard from one of the plots just this morning. Going back in morning. Says there are three more as big or bigger. I may take up turkey hunting.
