plot for next year?

i think i came up with a good idea. a friend and i were talking and we thought it would be a good idea to surround a food plot with tall corn to give the deer some cover and they could eat the corn as well. would this be a good idea?

Corn does not do well next to woods: it's ok if next to fields.
If next to woods try this starting fron the woods side...
10-12' buck beans
12-16' corn
in center use clover, wintergreens and maybe some Chicory & turnips.
