I planted last spring. sprayed 2 times last year (lots of weeds) - actually sprayed with the wrongs stuff (2-4-D B should have used 2-4-d amine), but it didn't seem to hurt the clover (was sposed to kill it!). I then put more lime on and seed on half of it that looked weak last fall. I "frost" seeded even more clover this late winter (I should have more clover seed in this little plot than will probably ever grow!) and have put more lime on this spring and some 5-5-10 fert. the first pic is sortly after my second mowing of this year. the mowing really seems to help although there are still some persistent weeds. I will probably mowed a few more time before the fall to keep the weeds from going to seed. I really haven't noticed a lot of browsing, but do have many pics of deer with their heads down eating away.
