This year we are going to try EH Thro' N Gro just to get us started. There are alot of rocks, roots, and vines in the ground still but they are slowly coming up. I have a little 8 wheel disc and old harrow drag that I pulled behing my ATV but we couldn't get real deep in the soil because of the rocks and stuff. We went ahead and seeded the area the same day and thinking about getting something different to seed in the middle of the month.Hopefully something will grow and we can get some deer from there.

I hope you used the tops of those trees to create funnels coming into your plot. A great way to make the deer go where you want them.

Definetely, we pushed the brush next to the established trails to help keep the deer using the same trails and also created to ground blind sites for differents winds. I will be going up next weekend to put a stand opposite of the blinds and to check out the plants to see if they are growing.Thinking about putting out some more seed but don't want to overdoit. Should have a location to hunt no matter what the wind will be.
