Default soil & lime

Any opinions out there on best month for soil test or spreading lime? I'm in the Mid-Atlantic.

We always add our lime here in northern Minnesota in the fall if weather allows. Remember, it'll takes weeks/months before you'll see any real change in soil PH. Regarding soil sample...just make sure your soil is dry when you do it. Fall is also great time for a soil test. Lets you take action over winter months. Taz
