Default Deer Cane..? pile or 2?

Has anyone ever split a bag of deer cane in the right proportions and have good outcomes.. or does it take a whole bag for success

I'm still waiting for the first deer to show any interest in the stuff. I've not heard of anyone having any success with it.

Deer cane works AWSOME! I love the stuff. I hunt over corn (bait) and i put some deer cane ont he side of where i dump my corn and they take a sniff of corn and then go right for the cane. They love that stuff early season. I went back to my old bowstand and there was a hole in the dirt where they've been digging. I just throw out the whole bag..

It's worked for me in the spring/summer to get pics on my trailcam. Never tried it close to hunting season.

Some is better than none. I use the liquid and it works great. 4 cups and the deer go crazey in the area

I ask you - How is deer cane related to Deer Management? Do you hunt over it?

ive [ut out deer cane many times.....usually in the same spot..... they mainly use it inthe antler growing season.the nutrients etc found in it helps....

they still come to it a little in the fall but not much after their antlers are done developing. Deer Cane, Deer Dynomite etc are all the same pretty much.........I have also use 50lb bags of Soda Ash(calcium carbonate) and it has worked too

the spot where i use it now started out as an old tree stump.now the stump is half dug out of the ground and a big hole is there

i split a bag, i put some near a bedding area and some on top of a pond bank about 15 yards away.which was raised up on the hope the wind will blow the scent around. i have had alot of movement and got some pics of the scraps where i put it. just set up a trail cam so i will be able to see the flow of deer through there.
