Deer Cane

Anyone have any luck with this stuff? I just picked some up and am wondering if it can be put out in the winter or will it not work if the ground is frozen? So should I wait till spring? THanks for the help.

I tried it and the deer loved it. Frozen ground is rare here, but I think I would wait until spring,
