food plot
today i went out a sprayed round up on my area i want to make it in and i was wondering what seed i should use im in a area that is very moist and gets ok sun light and may flood late in the season any suggestions on what seeds?

In moist soils your best bet for a perennial is a white clover. Make sure to soil test and correct the pH if necessary with lime. Also follow the prep directions for a clover plantiing.
I'm a fan of the Imperal Clover blend, had good luck with it. Search Imperial Clover, it's for sale all over the net.

For northern climates, damp soil, temporary flooding, ..... Alsike clover. It handles acidity and wetness better than white or red clovers.Soil PH still needs to be checked and adjusted with lime if neccessary. You may want to plant the alsike with winter Rye as a cover crop. Rye is cheap, handles poor soils. Winter Rye and Alsike are good, cheap, first year plantings in the north until soil quality is improved with lime and fertilizer. If theyflood out, you are not out much.
