Default Help with Wheat

I sowed wheat on a small plot last fall was going to plant clover this spring but did'nt get it done because of work. I was thinking about no till soybeans in the wheat then plant clover this fall. Will this work or should I leave it alone until I plant the clover?

Mow, spray with roundup (glyphosate), lime and fertilize per soil test for clover.

Wait till late summer/early fall. Plant white clovers with a cover crop of winter wheat. The Wheat provides fall and spring growth for the deer then dies next summer. You are then left with great white clover plot.
