crimson clover
I was thinking of planting some crimson clover in my plots in Fla. kinda sandy soil.
saw it growning in Ga. in the middle of the Hwy. if it grows there I though it would grow in the sandy soil of Fla.
any one have any try's in sandy dry soils?tried to find some seeds while I was in Columbus Ga. a few weeks back, but couldn't find any seed.

RE: crimson clover
I'm still trying to figure out the fascination with clovers. The clover I've seen seems to start growing to appreciable size after the season is over and about now the Crimson is starting to die off. I've got some great Yucchi (sp?) Arrowleaf that is now about knee high, but there is such a great amount of native vegatation out there the amount of grazing is nominal. If it is suppose to be mowed, will it stay green year round if you mow it?
