Newbie to Foodplots

Default Newbie to Foodplots

I am new to the food plot scene and was wondering when would be a good time to palnt a spring plot??
BTW I live in North Texas
Also what plot would you reccomend??

For planting spring crops, I prefer planting in March. Hopefully it will rain this march.

Where bouts in North Texas are you?

Last spring I tried Powerplant, it did well. I planted inlate April. Your time might be a little earlier. I was told to avoid the last frost. I'm planting it again this year.
