Default clover

Drought finally broke here in kansas last week. We got 3-5 inches depending on location. I planted some clover in a food plot 3 days before rain started. Rain was steady over 24-36 hours. The ground was so dry that my creek still does not have any water in it. I should have the best possible chances for a stand of clover I could have hoped for. Just curious if anyone else has used clover in farm country for feed plots and if so how it worked.

You should do well if the soil was prepared well. Depending on how soon you get cold weather, you might not have alot of clover to hunt over this fall, next year it should be lush - keep it mowed.

Good luck
