Default Roundup????

My local hardware store has "Ace Concentrate Weed & Grass Killer". It is 25% Glyphosate, isopropylamine salt, 75% Other ingrediants.
Is this generic roundup? Can I spray it on RR soybeans?
It is $20 for the quart.

it's generic roundup at a way way premium price.

i pay $53 for 2.5 gallons of 41% glyphosate. you can pay $20 for a quart of the stuff from Ace. if you bought 10 quarts of it, that would be $200 (and it's still 25%). if you bought the same amount of active ingredient, i think you'd have to buy around 16 quarts of the ace stuff. that would be $320 for what i pay $53 for.

go to a co-op or a grain dealer, buy a 2.5 gallon jug of it. it won't go bad or expire, just don't let it freeze. i go through 2.5 gallons every 24 months.

Yes, Yes, but $20/qt for 25% is very expensive. You could mail order a 2.5 gal jug of 41% for about $7/qt. ($70)

Farm & Fleet has 2.5 gal of 41% glyphosate for about $53 too. I kept mine in the shed over the winter, worked fine this spring/summer. Keep an eye out for end of summer sales.
