Planting apples, peaches and persimmons

Planting apples, peaches and persimmons
I've got some young apple, peach, and persimmon trees and I have about a dozen of each and I'm wondering if there's any particular 'best way' to plant these trees near my hunting spots. I'd like to plant them in fencerows and near a creek that runs through my property. Any advice on when, where, or how to plant these?

RE: Planting apples, peaches and persimmons
You need to match the tree to the site. Peaches like sandy soil with no grass competition. Apples will handle heavier soils and poorer drainage. They also can handle sod if they receive fertilizer or the sod is mowed. Persimmons are even tougher. They need no spraying and they even self prune their branches. None of these trees should be planted in soil that floods during the year.
I would fall plant after the leaves drop off. That is if you get fall rains so the soil is moist.
