there is a 2 bye 2 buck that i keep seeing and he has a grouth on his chest about the size of a basketball.. it is very strang looking.. it is archery season right know and he is a nice 2 by 2 but i was wondering if you all though his meat would be good? or if you think whatever he has might spread to other deer? have any of you sean anything like this before???

Talk to your local conservation officer and see what diseases infect the deer in your area. The worst thing is that even if you're told that it's safe you'll be thinking about the growth every time you look at the meat on your fork.

Sometimes deer get hemotoma's, blood clot's, that appear to be tumers. Had one on Pracical Sportsman a few years ago that had one so large it could hardly run.... About the size of a few bushelbaskets...
