How Much Land ?
#1
How many acres do you hunt on, and do you feel like it is enough, if not, less or more. I personally hunt on around 1400 acres here in Illinois, and I feel like I have plenty of land. I have land to hunt in both Pike and Brown county. Both places have been great producers of many very nice deer. I feel privileged,as I know many people struggle to find a place. I just pray that no outfitter comes and ruins it for me and my friends and family.

I hunt 135 acres, with another 85 acres to spare (opposit side of the road). More than enough for the 4 of us that hunt together!!
Oh, i didn't mention the other surounding acreage is owned by city folk - who are tree huggers!! So we have no problems!!
They feed them - we bag em!! lol All kidding aside, we know these people and althought they do not agree with hunting, they do not try to interfere in any way with our hunting!!!

I own 10.5 acres with a cabin on it and have access to the 80 acres that borders me though I usually stay on my property.I've taken some pretty nice deer off it and had the opportunity to tag deer every year. It' suits me fine.
