mass boys come on in

RE: mass boys come on in
I just posted this on your New Englad post as well....
I saw 8 deer in MA w/ the bow. 7 does and 1 small buck (spike or fork). Never got a shot at any of them. I shot a 4 pointer w/ the shotgun and wounded a doe. I saw 15 or so doe where I had been seeing a big bug, so I passed to wait on him and then I never saw another deer after that!
I did alot of driving for my hunting party after I shot my buck... My father in law took a spike & a doe, another guy got a spike, and another a doe in one area. My brother in law took a nice doe (164lb) w/ the muzzleloader and a friend took 2 nice doe that same drive (130 & 134) w/ the muzzleloader.
We had some action w/ the guns this year, but bow was awful.
My other brother in law took a nice 10 w/ the bow the last Thursday of bow season.

I wounded a big doe during bow, saw about 4 other does, and opening day of shotgun i shot a doe that dressed out at 119 pounds. Saw another doe the next day that I spooked getting outta my stand. Other than that very little action alot of the time. No acorns so the deer were very nomadic and hard to pattern.
