Mass bowhunters, I'm not seeing a lot of rut evidence in Area 9 below the Pike. Are we late or did I miss it?

M.B., Ihave found it is a later rut here, a little sporatic, in some areas! I hunt in zone 8.I think this week will be good though!

I am just below you (South) in Plainfield and the rut has been in full swing for two weeks and is at peak I think. Lots of freshly maintained scrapes. Saw a 8 point trotting after two does last week nose in the air!! Striper Phil ONE SHOT ONE KILL
