IN ALBERTA FOR A TOTAL OF $190.82 YOU COULD HOLD 7 DEER PERMITS AND SHOOT 11 DIFFRENT WHITETAILS.(only 4 could be bucks)
As the first post (Saskbucks') is only for cost of permits and whitetails for residents only, that is what I will report.
First of all though you have to spend some bucks on:
W.I.N. card.............$8.00
Wildlife Certificate...$22.85
Bow permit (some deer permits are only for bow hunters)
.......................$7.00
Then there are 7 diffrent deer licenses that you can apply for in a draw or buy over the counter that would allow you to shoot 11 diffrent whitetails at a cost of $133.99 (total + 7% Goods and Services Tax)

In Arkansas, we get 4 deer (sex depends on zone and method), 2 turkeys, and 1 bear for $25.

02bhuntin I see your wife has the same rule as mine, you have to beat your best before you get a mount, I never got him scored, but I killed an 8 point in 74 that was 21 3/4 inches in the inside of his beams and 19 1/2 inches from the top of his head to the two upper most tines, very heavy rack. I got him mounted and he burnt up in a house fire! Hopefully I will get one soon to mount, but there are not a ton of them bigger than that in Va., they're there though, I saw one last year that was at least his equal at 40 yards bow hunting.

In Ontario, it costs $33 for a buck licence. We can enter a draw to have it upgraded to an "any deer" tag. The area I bowhunt is offering additional "antlerless only" tags this year at $33.

I just got my NY license today, finally. The new computer system sucks.Let's hear it for Worldcomm<<<***RAZZZZZBERRRRRRRRRY!!!!*** *>>>
Anyhow, I got a total of 10 tags. 5 Deer, 1 black bear, 4 turkey. Total cost was 68.00. So each animal I harvest has cost me $6.80. That doesn't even take into account that my license will also allow me to fish all year, and hunt small game too.
Not too bad a deal I think.
I'll take good luck over skill any day!
