Personally I would try all three and make my own decisions . What might work best in one area might not in another and you could spend a lot of useless time doing something not suited to where you hunt . How I hunt is to do what I figure is best for the type of terrain I will be hunting . In a tree ,still hunt ,ground blind or spot and stalk I've done them all .

I must agree with the last 2. I have used all 3 on different hunts and have killed deer doing all 3. When there is a lot of hunter traffic in the woods I like to sit. In a tree if I can just to get myself out of the deers line of sight but if people are moving deer in an area that I don't have a stand in I will set up, make or find a blind to sit in. If the woods are still and not much is happening I will do some still hunting or stalking. I also like to still hunt when the weather is crappy and the deer bed down. Rain, snow and wind help me to move un-noticed and to get close to the game. Try all 3 and see what works best for you. Learning to hunt is a lot of trial and error.... Good luck.... Jim
