My point is that all parties involved have a huge incentive to lie. We will never know the real truth.

There is a difference between what the participants will say is true, what is actually true, and what the court deems to be the truth.

I was merely pointing out that there are, in fact, conflicting stories and that the court truth is yet to be determined.

Quit jumping to wild conclusions.

While your comments may be valid from a legal, constitutional standpoint, posting them to a bunch of deer hunters kind of bothered at least this one.

I BELIEVE even if they ALL had guns AND knives they NEVER would have shot another human being for tresspassing or any other reason. The guns were there for shooting deer and the knives were there for cleaning them.

I know he's afforded his right to a fair trial blah blah blah ...but I just don't want to hear things which dishonor the victims and thier families any further on a deer hunting forum no less.

standard operational procedure- seperate all involved and question each individually-
to say they talked about it to get their story straight shows you are uninformed as to questioning procedures and police tactics- and if you have never been shot i can understand your saying that-had you been shot would you worry about getting your story straight--no you worry about dying-and your hunting friends that got shot

geesh quik i totally agreee with you. see, it was all a trap. they put public hunting signs out and and lured Chai in there. then they reversed the signs. then they kicked chai out. then they called him names and shot at him. chai vang didn't kill a soul. see, the bodies were planted there by aliens. its what happened. i saw it in a dream. or not...


on a serious note, quik i think you're a complete moron. they musta all huddled up huh and figured out their story? this chai vang was a nutcase. Now im not intending to paint the whole house with the same brush, but there has been a history of instability among Hmong hunters. not saying all of them are like that, but theres been more than a few for them to get the reputation. a man doesnt have a right to gun down 6 UNARMED people. obivously if he had time to take the scope off his gun and reverse his vest to camo, this wasn't self defense. most of the info you were running off is just stuff coming out of the rumor mill. chai vang will be convicted, and will get life with no parole. too bad we dont have teh death penalty here in wisconsin. then again, i think he'll get it ala jeffery dahmer style...the old mop handle..
