yeah you did the right thing. my dad had to make that decision tuesday and he didn't shoot either. i don't know how many bucks i've passed up since the new antler restrictions were brought into law, but it's been a ton. that is one of the reasons why i was upset when they made this a law, but it has produced bigger bucks (atleast in my area anyways).

you did the right thing, an 8 pt my buddy shot must have been hit by a car during his youth because his one leg had been broken and mended. the mend was just below the "knee" in front the bone had repaired itself just like a human bone. and he moved just fine - whoooossshhhh as he went by me 190mph 2feet off the ground
