Well, I guess the most hilarious thing to me is, I've seen his blind!!! It isn't much different then a little shack, back porch, heater, it's kind of comical to me, I hunt out of a stand, not a blind, but the accomodations he has in his blind crack me up, yet, he has so well concealed his blind (in fact, another funny thing is, in light of one of the other topics, he used an artificial Christmas tree), he has does all over the place out there within a few yards of his blind, and they have no idea... Like I said, in his neck of the woods (pun intended), there just aren't many bucks, let alone bucks of THAT caliber.

Uncle Matt is right though, I did post it because I found it kind of humorous in itself, I didn't have any idea it would turn into a debate, but seriously, that's okay, I understand everyone has their opinions, I am just trying to understand the basis now for other's.

That's kinda why I put at the end of my very first post, "we had a good time razzin' him for the next few days..."

My oldest brother shot the biggest whitetail of his life from his kitchen window. He lives at the base of a hill on 100 achrs of woods. He woke up one morning to get ready for a hunting trip that afternoon. Around 6:30 am he went to get a cup of coffee and looked out his window. In his back yard, coming down the hill was a huge 12point. He grabed his gun, opened the window and shot the buck at about 110 yards.

Crap happens!!!! We have ended up filling tags that way, especially late in season, there's nothing wrong with that!

Man, seriously, this debate is NOTHING compared to the ones I used to get into about other issues on a different board!!! This is mild. I can't even begin to explain how the other ones got out of control... THIS is not out of control! LOL

Hey, every hunter has his story and every story is different... that's what makes the world go 'round.
