I missed a nice 10pt on the ground at 10 yds! Dang it! HOW does that happen? 
I was already picking out a place for him on the wall! lol
Dang ol' stickbow hunting never gets old and it will humble you quick!

It's those "gimme" shots that usually bite me in the rear at tournaments--shots a blind man could make in a cave at midnight. It's like you would have to work real hard to miss, but it happens.
On the bright side, at least you saw a 10 point!

I feel your pain!!!!!!!! At the start of my season after I took my first longbow doe, well first archery deer ever, I seen this huge buck I guessed him at 160"+ and I decided to hunt him only. Well I hunted hime hard and when I finally got my chance I missed him at maybe 10yards or so. Just over his back, I cried and never seen him again. It will probably happen again.
