I shot my first bear this weekend and have just got it back from the butcher. I've never eaten bear before. Has anyone here eaten it before? If so, what did you think about it? Also, any suggestions on how to prepare it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ive eaten it before, and think it tastes great. Cook it like you would a normal pork ham, or any pork for that matter since theyre meat is very similar. I am sure you can get some good receipes on the receipes section of this webpage. Good Luck!

I've had it once, it was great! Not sure though how it was prepared, I just remember that the taste was awesome. If you check online, I'm sure you could find a web site that caters to cooking wild game.
