My old man shot his first buck in Maine at the age of 16. He just got done taking a dump and lit up a smoke when right out in front of him walks up a 265lbs. 11point! He was doing everything wrong but was in the right place at the right time! You just never know........Good luck....Jim

I agree withe some of the folks that say it's just being in the right place and right time. The times I've driven to the hunting areas, the deer were out on the roadsides, 9 or more dead, and then there's none to be seen all day. I get down from the stand and spook a couple of nice ones standing by the roadside again. They know. They're evil. The added insult is when you live in a populated area and you come home and there's one in your backyard at 3am. If I only didn't have a homeowners association, I'd drop it right there. Hang in there and eventually the mojo will will work.
