I heard a guy talking about the two Toms that he hit when he was out on the snow machine the other day. Man whats wrong with these guys ! there not hunters, but seem to love to hit these birds with there machines because the birds are in front of them. Anyone else hear these stories , it makes me Mad thats for sure <img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>...BT

Yeah! Maybe we can join with PETA and get these things banned from the road! The very idea of killing our turkeys!
Uuhh... one thought occurs to me-- what's a snow machine?

Thanks for clearing that up. I seriously thought he was talking about snowplows. We don't have a whole lot to do with snow down here, so, I'll admit my ignorance on the subject.

Up here where it snows it does become a problem, not just with the sleds but with any trail that has no snow. When we get a lot of snow the birds take the easy way and that becomes their downfall. Friend of mine works the railroad and last year alone he heard of over 100 birds getting hit with the train. Deep snow has more an effect than just shortage of food. As for them sledders they need to be reported to the authorities and let them sort it out. Treat them as you would any poacher, with an iron fist.
