If she can shoot a 30-30 then have her shoot a 30-30.
She is as big as deerhuntress56 she shoots a 30-30.
A 30-30 is one of the oldest deer guns made.
It was used in the 1800s for deer even bounty hunters used it for the Bad Guys.
So I would get her a 30-30.
Good Luck with hunting deer.

well if she wants to shoot at anything longer than 100 yds... a 30-30 is out and the 243 with a 85 grain boattail has just about the same energy at 300 yds as a 100 grain corelokt and less recoil my advice is to shop the local pawn shops sometimes you will find a good steal in there and always offer less than what they are asking .... they only will pay out about 30% of the guns worth if that much also try looking on gunbrokers.com or auctionarms.com you'll have to find an ffl to do the trade but that usually only costs about 15 bucks. hope this helps

For a ight recoiling rifle that is impressive on game....hard to beat a 260 rem from what ive seen, i am saving to get one for myself in a light rifle they are awesome for what recoil they give.

if i were you i'd buy her a weatherby .338. after she shoots it once, she'll never wanna hunt or shoot again. the two perks to this is (1) you'll inherit a hell of a nice gun and (2) you'll have peice and quite while your in the woods......lmao...j/k

I'm in the same boat, until I started to look to my co-workers who expressed interest in learning to shoot. That made her jealous - you see, I'm a nurse and I work with almost an all-woman staff. She can handle my .270 Win without a hitch on the sand bag, and I'll work on getting her out in the woods!
