Im new to calling deer and I wanted the name of a good caller and perhaps a video to show how to call in deer. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

well i dont know of a video really but the snort nad wheeze call by M.A.D. calls comes with a tape and i figured it out pretty easy and its a really good call.

There are several on the market, Knight & Hale, Primos, Lohman etc. I'm going to use a Wireless Electronic Deer Call with wrist activation this season.

The True Talker by HS is a pretty good call. You can vocalize four to six calls with it. It has a wooden reed so it won't freeze up in the cold like many others do.

Check out a bow gunter by Away hunting. It has 4 diffrent settings, is hands free, you inhale instead of exhaling so it won't freeze when cold. It also comes with a 90 minute video about "social calling" and exploiting deer weaknessses. Great video, they take some dandy bucks. I definately learned some new stuff. They also cover making mock scrapes.

I would suggest the True Talker by HS like Texas 10pt did. It is a good call and it has worked for me.

I agree about the call from AWAY. Won't freeze up and is small and hands free use is a plus.
