I HAVE ONE OF THE MOCK SCRAPE MAKER DRIP BAGS. I FIND A WELL TRAVELLED DEER TRAIL AND FIND A SPOT WITH AN OVERHANGING BRANCH ABOUT 5 1/2 FEET HIGH. USING A STICK/LIMB I CLEAN ABOUT 2FT. CIRCULAR SPOT. MOVING ALL THE LEAVES AND TWIGS EXPOSING THE DIRT BELOW. I HANG MY DRIPPER ON THE OVERHANGING BRANCH.
YOU CAN BUY MOCK SCRAPE SCENT OR JUST FILL IT WITH DOE URINE YOUR CHOICE OF BRAND. IT IS IMPORTANT TO MAKE YOUR SCRAPE WITH AN OVERHANGING BRANCH. NOT JUST SO YOU CAN HANG A DRIPPER ON IT BUT B/C BUCKS RUB THE BRANCH WITH THERE ANTLERS AND FACE. FROM WHAT I HAVE READ, THEY LEAVE SCENT ON THE BRANCHES FROM THERE FACIAL SCENT GLANDS. HOPE IT HELPS LOL!!!

I agree with Cardeer. I have made mock scrapes in this manner, some get ignored, but others have really worked. I have freshened old scrapes in this manner and have bucks come back and redo them. Some got real mad, trashing small shrubs near the site.

Cardeer,
I have a question, you mentioned you did the same thing, urinate in it yourself, but you hang a used sanitary napkin? Did your wife use it first, than hand it over to you?
Please explain this further.
Thanks,
Tom
