6 as in 6 points total? or 6 to a side? Different places say different things. In Texas, 6 each side, we call it a 12. So yeah, I probably cap him. But I think you mean 6 total(3 per side) and I say pray you have your camera and get to hunt there next season. That's the big factor. If you own the land or lease it every year, then its one thing. Its something else if you are on public land. I have a lease, same one for 14 years, so if he crosses my path, I'm rolling tape and drooling.

Turkey Fan, I think he was meaning the white mark was unique to this deer that he had noticed as a spike, then a small 3x3 (6 for you boys) and now a bigger 6 (3x3). That way he knows he is a 3 1/2 year old deer just based on this unique marking.

If I'm hunting areas where the game plan is to remove deer to lesson the crop damage/landscape damage, he's down! If I am hunting my prime hunting land, I let him walk until next year.
