I hunt just north of you in Macon county(20 minutes maybe). There are some GREAT deer in the area. You are in for a great time. The deer were super active from October bow season through the rut. (mid to end of nov.)

Bow98,

I just got a response back from my buddy. From what he told me, you are going to a great outfit. he doesn't know them specifically, but from what he has heard is that Roy leases several farms in the area and manages each one. He opens up the farms for hunting that have the best herds. My bud has seen a few pics of bucks allegedly killed with gun creek outfitters, many going over 150". it sounds like you gt a good one. good luck and let me know how you do. attached is a pic of the buck I killed this year in Macon county. he is about a 90-100" 8 pt. but he is also my first buck. He is also only 18 months old, so imagine a 3.5 or 4.5 y/o deer....
