I would have to go with the 700 also ,I like bolts better than semi-auto's

Remington Model 700. You didn't say what you would be hunting so i'd go with the 30.06. It will cover pretty much anything you want to hunt and do all you ask of it and then some. If your only going to hunt deer with it then i'd say the 25.06
