Already got the semi in 30-06 so it would probably be a rem 700 in 7mm or 300.or what the heck why not a rem 700 in 338 win mag,would just about cover all the huntin i do.oh the rem 7400 is a good gun,u will have no regrets:D

If I were to choose between those two, and I didn't have a rifle in either caliber, I would go with the 7400. I have a 700 ADL .30-06 already, and I'm not too big on semi-autos for deer because of accuracy issues. But if you can keep your groups small, the.30-06 will really do a number on North American game.

I would get the 700 in 243. I've never liked the 7400.

Well I have the small bore, quarter bore, 6.5, 30 cal all covered already so I would look 338 or 45-70.

I would get the Model 7400 .30-06 since the Model 7600 isn't one of your choices.
