Dang !
Now you guys have me going ! I just bought a new smoker this year to replace my old one . It uses charcoal or propane , doubles as a turkey fryer or seafood boiler , and it all fits into a fairly small bag . Can't wait to try it out on some backstraps but I got skunked this year , anyone care to donate to the cause ?

Taz, there is only one place in my area that sells the casings packaged. They were out, but sold me some of their personal stock. Try finding a supermarket or small store that makes their own sausage and try getting them to sell you some of their casings. Good luck!

No doubt half the fun of hunting is proccesing and cooking your harvest.

When I stuff sausage I have the casing soaking in a bowl of water and put the bowl right under the stuffer and slide them on right out of the bowl or water, they slide right on.

I tried begging butchers, even tried begging a place that processes deer, no dice, the deer processor pi$$ed me off, because I know he had it, but since I process my own he didn't want to give it up!!!!

Thanks for the link Jersey, how long does it take them to ship it to you?
