WR and others...you are correct. If the mount is special to you, then it is a trophy. I would mount this one, even if it was during rifle season. Nice deer.

I also get tired of people making claims about this record and that record most are just trying to make a dollar. As for scoring not being everything I have a ten point that isn't even close to being my biggest mounted but it means the most to me because I killed it on public land on a hunt with my three brothers and my dad along Merry Christmas

Hey WR, any buck is a trophy and is beautiful. I don't care if it is a spike it is still a trophy. so you know any way if you've only ever shot what 2 bucks that were bigger why would you pass on a third place buck?
