Dedicated or Lucky to be alive?

I did something like that basically. around the end of december I get invited to go hunting, the wife says you cant go I might go into labor. Needless to say I went, she was crying. Well this obviosly upset her somuch it through her right into labor. On the way to the ranch I' m driving and get really really nautious, had to pull over and let my brother drive. Well we hunted that evening and after the hunt we went to town and I called home. Well she had our little boy and it turns out the time I was throwing up was when she was giving birth. Well I drove the 160 mile back home to the hospital, visited with them all night and morning and headed right back in time to be in my blind for the morning hunt.
If mama' s bringing home a mouth to feed I need to bring something home to put in it. LOL.
PS my son was born on the 1' st of january 1988
Oh that marriage only lasted 2 years LOL.

when my wife went into labor with my 1st 2 sons i was in the woods (nov26 and dec2) , the 1st time witha deer down. good thing for cell phones!! she was not impressed, but i made it home in time to drive her to the hospital. my dad went and got the 4 pointer for me. when my mom went into labor for me (many moons ago) my dad was floating around the hudson river duck hunting, and his friends were driving up and down the shore with the horns blaring on thier cars. took an hour, but he finally figured something was up!
my 3rd son came 2 hours before i was supposed to be 60 miles offshore deep-sea fishing, good timing on that one, i' m not sure i wouldve had phone service that far out!
we (hunters)are a rare breed, indeed
