There is a myth that deer will always run from dogs. NOT SO! The wife and I watched two dogs come out of the bottom below our lake levee, running for their lives with their tails between their legs. A big doe was chasing them and stopped when they ran out of wight. It seems the doe had twin fawns in the weeds below the levee and the dogs got too close.
