congrats to your son on his find buck. There isn' t a finder way to introduce a youngster to hunting than through a ground blind.

6 years old! wow. Here in Ny you cant shoot a deer with a bow until age 14, and rifle/shotgun until age 16. And down there you have 6 year olds hunting, wow. i didnt even go out hunting with my dad until i was at least 8. I didnt get a deer untill last saturday, at age 18. its amazing how laws are so different from state to state.

6 IS young. i didnt get my first buck till 12, and that was my 3rd year hunting. congrats on making a fine shot and killing a great buck!!!
