What do you consider a big enough white-tail.

The last one is over minimum, the rest are not. They are however all a bit larger than 140. Except that heavy massed one. Now I'm not entirely sure what you getting at with your posts here, but if you don't believe me, that's fine; it isn't going to hurt my feelings.
Secondly we are leaps and bounds off of the main topic of this post, which was what do you consider as a big enough trophy (if you were trophy hunting, not dropping meat) white-tail for your geological location. Acknowledge the personal preference part of it.

...Edited by Champlain Islander... Canada has some of, if not THE, largest bodied whitetail deer period. And Saskatchewan is home to many of them. And them big ole bodies make a 140 inch rack look little when they are rutted up. Been hunting up in that area longer than you have been breathing and have taken quite a few and seen a whole hell of a lot more there.

Down here in Florida where I hunt on public really anything that is legal is considered a shooter. Our regs 3 points on one side at least and inch long or a 10" main beam. Now if we are talking about respectable bucks. But down here really a buck over 80" is consider a respectable buck and one over 100" is typically a mounter. The big nine my dad shot down here on public scored 109" and the 10pt on camera was pushing every bit of 120". I had him walk out on me during archery season years ago at 33 yards and could not get a shot neither broadside or quartering. The other buck my dad shot probably high 80s or low 90s and the 8pt I have maybe was pushing about 70".

Now I'm not a rookie or anything but I am curious as to what people from different areas consider as a minimum B&C score for a shooter buck. Obviously it'll depend on personal preference, but I am curious. And wouldn't mind doing some statistical work which has probably been done already.

I'm wondering how an experienced hunter could ask how a B & C minimum score could "obviously depend" on personal preference? I found that statement kind of funny, as every experienced hunter knows that B & C minimum is the same standard everywhere. Anyway keep hunting, and get venison for your fam Tikkachu!
Minimum - noun - the least or smallest amount or quantity possible, attainable, or required.
Everybody and their dog knows what the minimum entry into the books is.
I am asking what is the least or smallest amount or quantity(measured in inches "B&C") you would take, what is possible for you, attainable for you, required for you to shoot.
Good lord man, hope this is laid out well enough for you. I really don't feel like drawing.

minimum I would take is whatever is legal. I like big bucks and I WILL NOT LIE.
THAT SAID ,i LIKE FILLING MY BELLY THROUGH THE winter more, so if opportunity presents itself I will kill bigest antlered buck I can. same as most any hunter would do.
I can only shoot one per year here so first half of season I WILL PASS ON MANY SMALLER BUCKS. AS SEASON nears closing I WILL KILL WHAT IS LEGAL.
I generally get my buck and often an elk also. I do not really care to much if I go home empty handed. those few years I do not kill anything myself, I buy a beef and trade for wild game with other family or friends. that way there is never a year goes by that I do not have some deer , elk , beef and(or)antelope in the freezer.
