minimum I would take is whatever is legal. I like big bucks and I WILL NOT LIE.

THAT SAID ,i LIKE FILLING MY BELLY THROUGH THE winter more, so if opportunity presents itself I will kill bigest antlered buck I can. same as most any hunter would do.
I can only shoot one per year here so first half of season I WILL PASS ON MANY SMALLER BUCKS. AS SEASON nears closing I WILL KILL WHAT IS LEGAL.
I generally get my buck and often an elk also. I do not really care to much if I go home empty handed. those few years I do not kill anything myself, I buy a beef and trade for wild game with other family or friends. that way there is never a year goes by that I do not have some deer , elk , beef and(or)antelope in the freezer.
