Question??

Doug ,
when you stop to think that each hunter should have 20 ACRES to himself your club should consider a larger lease . If it' s financially practical consider buying land for your club and rotate hunting days among the members . Two and 1/4 acres per man is way too small .

Ok Doug, clarify for us. Do you really have 100 members in a 225 acre club? The club I' m in has 12 members to 1100 acres and that seems tight. I would not think more than five or six should be in on 225 acres. But thats only my opinion. But 100??? Thats a freaking lot.

I wouldnt call that greedy at all. I bet the other hunters that want a deer are doing the same thing. Does sound extreme, but I am not there so good luck. I would get a bullet proof vest and a .300WSM so I could identify the deer that out of the 30 bullet holes you should have the largest hole saying thats my .300 I' ll taker.
That or get a AK-47. Cause when the sunrises the first morning the deer and bullets are going to be flying, better shoot all the deer you can so you all can split the meat up.

225 acres is a 2 man lease max 3 down here. We have about 1600 acres and 12 members and I would like to see that go down. We have our primary stands that we enhance ourselves, then we have club stands we enhance with club money.
