Default food plots

i live in south carolina i have been planting sow beans but the deer always eat them before they get mature. I have planted that bio logic junk but it grows sooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow. And it is expensive then u have to have the soil exacally right. what do yall susgest

Yes, the wheat and clover mix is great. Annual rye works well also for this time of year. Most anything you plant will require a pH level of 5.5 or higher if you expect it to do well. The annual rye and wheat will do fairly well even in the poorest soils but clover must have the correct pH.
