That is just a tick over 25.00 and acre. Here what you would get for that is a 280 acres of wet swamp land you can not do a thing with.

7200 isn't much for that amount of land.

Use a bit of caution here. $7200 for a farm with 280 acres?

I think you left off some zeros and if you can't afford $7200 on your own if that's the correct price I don't believe I would want to get involved in any business deals. I paid almost that much for 20 acres back in 1973!

Lol I guess I did leave out that it was a lease.

$7200.00 and national hunting leases isn't a place that's going to rip you off... Also keep in mind I haven't gone to look at this yet I was purely looking for someone that might be interested and then go from there.

That would also be my take if it's now a lease we're talking about. Three people would be almost $2500 a piece per year. You might as well buy a chunk of land even if it's a lot smaller and put that into payments on it for that kind of money.

Or rent a farmhouse you can live in and on land you can hunt on. Downside would be that the owners and all their friends/family would have first choice on everything.

Or pay the $7200 or $3600 for the lease and then rent the farmhouse after your wife sees the credit card statement.

Getting tough to get your own private land to hunt on these days.
