Does cammo really matter?

Here is another reason camo matters.
I shot my big buck this year and loaded him up and took him to the home farm where we took him out and took pictures. The neighbors drove by and saw him. Within hours they had a stand as close to mine as they could get it. (they obviously thought I killed the deer there where they saw us taking pictures) When I'm bowhunting the less other people know where I'm at the better.

Deer and most other big game aren't "hi def camo" as they are just more neutral in color to lightly blend into their surroundings.
Most reptiles like snakes and frogs are camoed pretty good but they aren't 6ft tall, 250#s nor hiding 20ft off the ground!
Obviously a royal blue jumpsuit wouldn't do much to help blend in the winter time woods but any combo of olive, earthtones etc... works quite effectively so long as you simply sit still!

That is for certain.
Ive got a few spots. One right off of a highway that is good for a couple pounds and another right off a public bike trail(and I mean right off) that Ive picked up to 15+ pounds. I'm in camo head to toe when I check those spots.
I figure I'm going to really creep somebody out someday when they are walking/biking on the bike trail and they see me 10 feet into the woods in full camo watching them go by but nobody has seen me yet.

Hmmm what exactly are turkeys and pheasants trying to "hide as" then???
