RE: Some Buck Pics...Stealth Cam
I have been told by conservation agents that once a deers antler is damaged during the velvet phase, that the deer' s antler gene, for lack of a better description, has a " memory" to it an will duplicate the defect in the following years antler developement. How much of this is true, I am not sure, but I wouldn' t be suprised.

RE: Some Buck Pics...Stealth Cam
Brand new to this site and just wanted to say hello and share some stealth cam pics of my own. I hunt in La Salle Co. in South Texas, known for big bucks. But they have been scarce or just not seen on my ranch, until stealth cam came in.
We started a protien feeding program 3 years ago and it is just now starting to kick in. This is a family ranch and not leased or used for money.
