I have some doe tags left and been wanting to take one with a old 54 cal. flintlock rifle I have. All I've been seeing is buck. Wonder where all the doe went?I seen 3 buck this week and just 2 hours ago I seen 4 buck in the field next to my house.Did they shoot all the does in Pa this year?Anyone else having this problem in the late season.

it's the opposite down here. We can onlu shoot bucks, and all I see are does! Go figure.

cardeer I have a feeling with all those bucks around the doe are probably sleeping, to tired from all the bucks running them.

I wonder if they are all holed up in a deer yard somewhere that has all the food and water they need so they are not travelling far. Back track on so fresh trails and see where they are bedding.

Don't know if you read my post on Thrusday, but I was out for bout 2 1/2 hours in the morning with my son, and we saw NO LESS than 21 deer..........five of them buck...a nice one, a nicer one, a BIG one, and 2 so-so ones.

All will be better next year, if the corn fields don't get burried in snow, as there is a lot of &quot;blow down&quot; corn for them, and the farmer did not chisleplow it under this year as he does some year.
